Black stones from the Gobi, veined with white patterns resembling star maps. Traders used them to record routes, claiming that when lost, gripping the stone would make the lines rearrange, pointing toward an oasis.
Red Turquoise – The Blood Oath Under the Sun
A crimson-hued ore found by Moroccan caravans, worn close to the skin to prevent heatstroke. Nomads called it "desert blood," believing it could ward off death by dehydration.
